2017 Mazda BT50 Changes and Release

The 2017 Mazda BT 50 should appear on the market in the second half of 2016. Considering that the model for the year 2016 went through a process of improvement and fine-tuning, not to be expected any dramatic changes in the incoming model. Expect the 2017 Mazda BT50 to arrive with the same new grille, bumpers and light clusters offered by the 2016 version. The vehicle will arrive with some elements that will make the vehicle appealing. Like the current model, 2017 BT50 will possess new taillights with dark red lenses and without any chrome accents. The newly designed aluminum wheels will adorn the new model. Unlike base, XT version, XTR and GT versions will offer tubular side steps.

2017 Mazda BT50 Specs

There is no official information on changing supply powertrains. However, such changes are not expected. 2017 Mazda BT50 will continue to use the same turbo diesel engines, offered by the previous models. These are the 3.2-liter 5-cylinder turbo diesel engine and 2.2-liter 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine.

The 3.2-liter engine develops 197 horsepower at 3,000 rpm and 470 Nm of torque at 1,750-2,500 rpm. This engine is coupled to a six-speed transmission, manual or automatic.

The 2.2-liter engine possesses 148 horsepower and 375 Nm of torque. This engine will be installed only in 2017 Mazda BT50 4×2 version.
