2017 Cadillac Escalade EXT

Speculations about a possible revival of the Escalade EXT nameplate have been around ever since the model was killed off in 2013. While some sources were even suggesting that its comeback was slated for the 2016 MY, it seems more likely to arrive a year later. So, the 2017 Cadillac Escalade EXT is expected to revive the tradition of the much-praised luxury sport-utility truck. The features that used to set this model apart from the rest of the pickup truck segment include a distinctive exterior styling, luxurious trim as well as a powerful V8 powertrain under its hood. Needless to say, many truck enthusiasts will be thrilled to find out that the American automaker plans to relaunch this unique model.

2017 Cadillac Escalade EXT Design

Based on the standard Escalade, the 2017 Cadillac Escalade EXT will naturally share most of its features with the redesigned 2015 model. The upcoming pickup will be offered only as a four-door crew cab model, just like its predecessor. Expect also to see a completely redesigned front fascia that includes a new grille with horizontal strakes and full-LED headlights. Generally speaking, the Escalade EXT is expected to adopt a more refined and elegant look that was recently introduced by the standard Escalade. As for the interior, it will undergo a complete overhaul in order to match the high-end appearance of the sheet metal. Expect to see plenty of stylish features such as wood trim as well as cut and sewn leather upholstery. Compared to the discontinued model, the 2017 Escalade EXT will feature a much more sophisticated interior design.
